Swiss company Atios sells a Matter bridge for Wiser by Feller, the wired smart home system from the Swiss switch and socket maker Feller. The product is called WiserPort, and matter-smarthome.de covered it on 31 October 2026. Atios lists it at CHF 999 on its own shop, which currently ships within Switzerland.

What Wiser by Feller is

Feller is based in Horgen on Lake Zurich and belongs to Schneider Electric. Its Wiser system should not be confused with Schneider's own Zigbee-based Wiser range. Wiser by Feller devices are wired: switches, dimmers, blind controls and thermostats talk over a proprietary fieldbus that uses an extra wire (K+) in the installation. A Wiser WLAN Gateway connects that bus to the home network and the Feller app.

WiserPort does not replace the gateway. It sits next to it, reads the installation through Feller's open API and presents the devices as a Matter bridge.

What it exposes

According to Atios, WiserPort passes these device types to Matter controllers:

  • lights: on/off, dimmable, tunable white and colour
  • switches and sockets
  • blinds, roller shades and curtains, with position and slat angle
  • thermostats, handled as HVAC groups
  • DALI lights connected to the Feller system

The supported controllers named are Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings and Home Assistant. Atios says one WiserPort handles up to 100 devices and describes the bridge as Matter certified.

Atios also plans KNX and DALI bridging as a free software update. It has given no date for that, so anyone buying for KNX today is buying on a promise.

Hardware and setup

WiserPort is a DIN-rail module measuring 70 x 85 x 60 mm, meant for the distribution board. It connects over Ethernet or 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Power comes either from PoE (802.3af) or from a 20-30 V DC supply, and only one source may be used at a time.

Pairing with the Feller gateway is done with the Wiser button. After that, the web interface shows a Matter QR code and an 11-digit setup code, each valid for a 15-minute pairing session. The same codes are also printed on a label on the device. Matter sharing can be switched on per device, so not everything in the installation has to appear in every controller. Atios has an online demo of the interface for anyone who wants to see the menus before buying.

The warranty is three years, and Atios offers a 100-day money-back period.

Who it is for

This is a niche product with a niche price. It makes sense for houses and flats already wired with Wiser by Feller, which is mostly a Swiss market, where ripping out switches to get Matter would cost far more than CHF 999. For anyone outside that installed base it is mainly an example of how wired legacy systems are being pulled into Matter through bridges rather than replaced.
