Conow, an energy brand built together with Tuya Smart, announced on 26 October 2026 that its Atlas 6000 AC home battery is now on sale in Germany through local distributors. It is aimed at households that already have rooftop solar and want to store surplus energy without replacing their inverter.
What it is
The Atlas 6000 AC holds 6,028 Wh in LiFePO4 cells and has a built-in 3,000 W bidirectional inverter. It is AC-coupled, so it connects on the house's AC side, and the existing solar inverter stays where it is. Panels cannot be connected to the battery directly.
Conow says a basic installation takes about three minutes. The battery plugs into a standard household socket and feeds the grid at up to 800 W. By default the output is capped at 799 or 800 W, depending on local rules. Higher output, up to 3,000 W, requires installation by a qualified electrician, after which Conow support activates it in the app.
A separate backup output delivers 3,000 W, and the switchover time in a power cut is given as 10 ms or less. The unit measures 805 × 315 × 256 mm, weighs 55.9 kg, is rated IP65 and comes with a 10-year warranty. Conow quotes 10,000 cycles at 25 °C down to 70% capacity. With AirMesh, up to ten units can be linked wirelessly for about 60 kWh.
Apps and Home Assistant
The battery connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and also has LAN and RS485 ports. It can be controlled from the Tuya Smart, Smart Life or Conow ECO apps. Conow's own AIX energy management plans charging around dynamic tariffs, solar forecasts and household consumption. According to Conow it supports more than 1,000 dynamic tariff providers in the UK and Europe. Zero export needs a compatible smart meter, sold separately.
For Home Assistant users, distributor Sonnenmatrix writes that Conow documents a local connection through an additional integration and Modbus over RS485. It requires first activation in the Conow ECO app, enabling external control and an RS485 adapter. Conow's product page also mentions an open API and Modbus TCP.
Price
Sonnenmatrix, one of the three distributors listed in the announcement, sells the Atlas 6000 AC for €1,239. That price uses Germany's 0% VAT rate for solar equipment, which applies only to residents of Germany. The listing currently includes a free 500 W JA Solar panel, with €69 shipping for it.
