Xiaomi has added a washer-dryer to its large appliance range in Europe. On 27 October 2026 Notebookcheck reported that the Mijia Washer Dryer Pro 10kg (model WD100MJA12EU) is available in Germany and Spain. In Germany it is sold through Xiaomi's own online store for €649, with delivery within 12 days.
Capacity and energy
The 10 kg figure in the name applies to washing only. The machine dries at most 7 kg, so with a full drum you need to take some laundry out before the drying phase.
According to Notebookcheck, the machine is in energy class A for washing but only class D for the combined wash-and-dry cycle. At €0.30 per kWh, one full drying cycle can easily cost more than €1 in electricity. Xiaomi's own product page claims the machine is 30% more efficient than the minimum threshold for class A when washing, based on a DEKRA test, and adds that this is not an official EU energy label.
Smart features
- Automatic dosing. The machine has two tanks, for liquid detergent and fabric softener, and doses both according to the weight of the load. Xiaomi says one refill lasts up to a month. In the Xiaomi Home app you can raise or lower the dosing for heavily or lightly soiled laundry.
- App control. Besides the touch panel on the front, the machine can be controlled through the Xiaomi Home app, where you can also adjust washing and drying programs.
- Programs. These include a 12-minute quick wash for lightly soiled clothes, a 32-minute "smart wash" and steam modes for refreshing and sanitizing.
- Warranty. Xiaomi gives a 12-year warranty on the direct-drive motor.
What it means for a smart home
Xiaomi Home is a cloud app, and neither Notebookcheck nor the product page mentions Matter or any other open standard. If you want the washer-dryer in Home Assistant or another platform, for example to start a cycle when solar output is high or to get a notification when it finishes, check first whether your integration supports this model.
The 12-year warranty covers only the motor, not the electronics, pumps or dosing system. There is no word yet on sales in other EU countries, including Poland.
